Using Interlibrary Loan

If a book or a journal article you are looking for is not available at Yale, you can always request it from another library via our free interlibrary loan service. Just remember that there are faster ways to get the item you want: for books, try Borrow Direct first, and for journal articles, try requesting it via Yale Links first. If those do not work for you, this tutorial is for you. I will show you how to request books and journal articles by manually filling out our interlibrary forms. The HTML version of this tutorial is available here.

This tutorial also concludes this sequence of tutorials known as "Library 101". Please keep sending feedbacks to lei dot wang at yale dot edu!

Update: This tutorial is unavailable because it is being revised. Please check back for an update.
